5 Day Dog-Centred Holiday / Workshop:

Improving Dogs’ Social Skills

Practicals: Cannock Chase, Staffordshire.

9.30 (registration) – approx. 5pm each day

VENUE: Prospect Village Hall, Williamson Ave, Prospect Village, Cannock WS12 0QF

Subsequent days will be held at various sites within Cannock Chase

Help your dog to gain more confidence around other dogs and people, and to become more relaxed in different environments.

​

​

Learn some of the tools that will help you to recognise when your dog needs help, how to support him and how to help him have good experiences.

Set in the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful natural environment of Cannock Chase you will learn skills such as:

  • How to move from avoidance and management to building up Real Life Skills

  • How to use the lead as a support for your dog

  • How to use the environment to achieve the best results

  • How the correct use of your body language can influence your dog

 

Enjoy a range of gentle walks and calm activities designed to help your dog have positive experiences around other dogs and people.  Walks will include individual support with the aim of helping your dog have positive learning experiences around other dogs and people.

Limited places available

 

5 days:  £380.00 for handler and dog,

Discounts for accompanying partners with dogs (£325.00)

Attendees without dogs are also welcome (£250)
